

Taguig City, Metro Manila- The Metropolis just can’t get enough of “Vigan” as the 5th Vigan Food and Trade Fair ran successfully on April 20 to 27, 2012 at Villa Fernandina de Vigan.
For the fifth time, customers all around the Metro Manila came to visit and were delighted to see different crafts and traditional products from Vigan. They also seized this moment to enjoy the longganisa, bagnet, empanada, okoy, sinanglao, and other native food.
With the objective to consistently promote the culture and tourism industry of our city, the city government under the leadership of Mayor Eva Medina mounted this event to boost Vigan’s small and medium scale enterprises.
Cooperating business entities were furniture shops (10), souvenir shops (6), and food sector (9). They were all happy with their combined gross sales of approximately Php 1,200,000.00. The 25 exhibitors expressed their gratitude to the city government of Vigan as well as to their new and regular customers who have always patronized the fair.//esra
