Cockroach Control and Rat Abatement Maintenance program
In line with the mission-vision of the City government to provide effective services for improve quality of life of the Biguenos, Mayor Eva Marie S. Medina together with CGSO Kenneth B. Victa has come up with a schedule of services for the calendar year 2012 for the Cockroach Control and Rat Abatement Maintenance Program.
Among the targets of the said program are the following: the Vigan Public Market for both Cockroach Control and Rat Abatement, the City Hall building, VCTC, parking area, drainage canal and surroundings for Rat Abatement Maintenance. This is to be undertaken by MAPECON Phils. Incorporated and the CGSO personnel.
Services for rat abatement maintenance include installation and placing of baits and traps, retrieval of unconsumed baits & unused traps and disposal of dead rodents while services for cockroach control maintenance include spraying & misting application for the control of cockroaches.
With this program, we are assured of a disease free and friendly environment. So we enjoin everyone to do their part in making our city clean.
