Vigan-most child-friendly city in Region I

     Vigan was chosen as this year’s "most child-friendly city in Region I," beating seven other cities in the entire Ilocos region  after it earned the highest number of points under the category for region’s component cities in an evaluation conducted by the Regional Council for the Welfare of Children.

Catalina, San Vicente, San Ildefonso, Caoayan and Sto. Domingo to explore the possibility of creating the Metro Vigan Coordinating Council.
